WTF is a Blog for?

There are so many damn things I want to discuss, and I should do it on my blog right? WTF is a blog for? I have to filter it not to disappoint my family, and I have to filter it so my friends don’t judge me, and don’t forget co-workers, I wouldn’t want them to think I’m a freak right? I really want to say fuck it and speak my mind. Hell some of it would be really interesting to some of you. Blah, you all suck…

Double Standards for All

I would like to apologize, I believe Barack Obama will steer this country in the right direction. He’s done more in office in the last 40-some days than George W. did his entire 2 terms.

Again, I apologize for not giving Barack a chance during the primaries and give him kudos for letting my lady Hillary do her thing beside him.

Not Voting for Obama by Choice…

So today is the day…

I find myself in a predicament, one that will leave me contradicting myself. The DNC and John McCain left me in this position.

You all know I am a huge Hillary supporter. Up until this week I was either going to vote for Nader or write Hillary’s name on the ballet.

Well, McCain’s running mate Palin scares the hell out of me, the Democratic party can’t afford to lose any votes so I will be voting Obama.

Why? Palin is clueless, in most of the interview’s I’ve seen she acts more like a babbling sorority girl taking her speech requirement for college rather than a government official. She also contradicts the rights of many women. In my opinion McCain would die in office and we’d have Palin running the country into the ground.

Even if McCain didn’t have Palin on the ticket his political values are too inline with those of George W. Bush and we do need change.

Now a few thoughts about Barack, as long as Michelle keeps quiet I think he’ll do fine. He’s still not the first black president but he’s a step towards that, we can settle for mulatto president if a black president is in our future. Also the DNC is pulling the strings, Obama is a smiling puppet and I can only hope the DNC will surround Barack with the right people.

So Barack, you’ve won this round, don’t disappoint us.

Holy Shit, Metallica is Playing Metal! Anthrax Too?

I heard the demo for "They Day that Never Comes" which you can hear here on Metallica.com. I felt like it started as a ballad like a cross between Unforgiven and Fade to Black. 4 minutes into the song it starts getting heavier, like old Metallica. I will probably get flamed for saying this but after listening to some of the other samplers found here on Metallica.com I’d say they are back. I was so sick of the bluesy james like Load and Un-Load, so sick of the wanna-be-raw rock St. Anger. This isn’t old Metallica but it’s where Metallica should be with their age and change of times taken into consideration.

Now I heard 3 new tracks from Anthrax and the same can be said!

Let’s fucking rock!
